Our 12 Days Rwanda Uganda Safari Adventure will lead you to track mountain gorillas in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park and to explore Uganda’s best tourism spots of Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The tour will lead you through the different ecosystems and a chance to visit both countries at a go. It begins in Kigali and ends in Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport
You will be welcomed by a Verdant Safaris company representative who will transfer you to the hotel that has been booked for you in Kigali to rest from the long flight. Take your time to relax as you prepare for the following day’s activities. Depending on your time of travel, you may have the chance to do the Kigali City Tour and visit the Rwanda Genocide Memorial.

Day 2: Transfer To Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park is one of the closest parks to the city center of Kigali. It is home to about 30% of the remaining population of the mountain gorillas. You will be transferred to the park. The drive is approximately 3 hours to the destination. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon entertainment from the Iby’iwacu community.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Following an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for the gorilla trekking experience. This takes 2 or more hours depending on how far the gorillas have moved. The primates love to nest on the ground and rarely feed in one place for a long time. An hour is allowed while with the mountain gorillas. Return for dinner and staying overnight at
Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will have breakfast after which you are transferred to your second place to see the mountain gorillas. Half the population of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas live within Bwindi Impenetrable National Park situated within the western corner of Uganda.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Activity and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Following a morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking experience. The conservation area is home to half the population of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, the gentle species are amazing creatures living in groups of up to 10 members led by a male silverback. In groups of 8 you will be allowed to track per gorilla family. This takes 2 or more hours depending on how far the gorilla families have moved. Return to meet your guide who will transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking and Relaxation.
Wakeup for an early morning breakfast to get ready for chimpanzee trekking, your guide will take drive you to Kanyanchu Visitor Center by 8am for your chimpanzee trek. This takes 2 to 3 hours through the thick tropical rain forest other primates like l’hoest monkey, black and white colobus monkey, retailed monkey, grey cheeked mangabey may be spotted lunch at the lodge. Day 7: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Following a beautiful breakfast, you will be transferred to Uganda’s largest conservation area, it’s a full day drive passing through the beautiful villages of Kagadi district, lunch will be gotten enroute, arriving on game drive around the park as we proceed to accommodation that has been booked for our dinner and staying overnight at
Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 8: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Early morning meal after which you will head for a game drive through the park, searching for fauna including especially for the early morning risers. Animals to be spotted include elephants, giraffes, lions, impala, oribi, warthogs, lions. Head back to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. This will enable you have a closer look at the water mammals like the Nile crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks among other animal species. Checkout of the lodge and take a domestic flight to Kidepo Valley National Park.

Day 9: Game Drives and Visit The Lorukul Community
After breakfast, you will go on an early morning game drive along the Narus Valley. You will be so amazed by how much you can see including the large populations of buffaloes, giraffes, Jackson hartebeests. Return to have lunch and an afternoon visit to the Lorukul community. Day 10: Full Day Game Drives
Morning tea of breakfast after which you go back in search for animal species you might have missed the previous day. Return for lunch and an afternoon drive in the park for evening cool weather through the expanse weather and relaxation on sundowners. Dinner and staying overnight at

Day 11: Morning Guided Nature Walk And Transfer To Entebbe
You will have a morning guided nature walk for experiencing the various tree and plant species. Return for brunch and your flight back to Entebbe, arriving to check in accommodation that has been booked for you. Dinner and staying overnight at.

Day 12: Departure
You will have a relaxed breakfast, after which your guide representative will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your international flight back home.
