Itinerary Detail
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Akagera National Park
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Verdant Safaris company representative who will meet greet and transfer you to Akagera National Park. The drive is approximately 3 hours to reach the conservation area, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and staying overnight at
Akagera Game Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive and Transfers to Volcanoes National Park
Following an early morning breakfast, you will go to the park center to begin your day in search of early morning risers, especially the big cats. Morning time is always a feeding time every species almost is always out to graze. You will be amazed by how much variety of animal species you will able to trace in the well-distributed game tracks of the conservation area. Return for lunch and a transfer to Volcanoes National Park, arriving in the evening for dinner and staying overnight at
Singita Kwitonda Lodge.

Day 3: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
You will wake up to a morning tea or coffee after which you shall transfer to the park headquarters for a morning briefing, into groups of eight. You will be allocated a gorilla family to trek. The walk is led through by an experienced guide who will show you through the forest an hour is allowed while with the mountain gorillas after which you will return to meet your guide who will transfer you to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight at
Singita Kwitonda Lodge.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 4: Departure.
Morning tea or coffee, after which you will transfer to Kigali for your international flight to your next destination.
