This 3 Day Rwanda Chimpanzee Tracking Safari will lead you to Nyungwe Forest National Park. The tropical rainforest is said to have survived the ice age era. The park is home to 13 primate species, mainly the chimpanzee. The forest boasts some of the most luxury facilities present for visitors to stay. Chimpanzees are said to be man’s closet relatives sharing up to 98% of the human DNA. They are social and intelligent.

Itinerary.
Day 1:Arrival and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Verdant Safaris company representative who will meet, greet and transfer you to Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will pass through the beautiful country side of Rwanda, en-route we will visit the Nyanza palace, an old kingdom with the most outstanding artefacts of Rwanda. You will arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon relaxation at
One and Only Nyungwe.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk.
Early morning breakfast after which we will transfer to the park headquarters Uwinka for chimpanzee tracking. It begins with a morning briefing from the park rangers after which you head to the forest. Chimpanzees are so loud that you will be able to hear them at a distance. Look out for a couple of look out for other species like the black and white colobus monkey and an afternoon walk on the famous canopy. Dinner and staying overnight at
