Rwanda is a known home to mountain gorillas which are only found in the volcanoes national park. Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park – Experience The Iby’iwacu Community

On arrival, you will be picked up by a Verdant Safaris company representative who will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. The ride is about 2 hours to reach the destination arriving in time for lunch and afternoon entertainment from the Iby’iwacu community in the village. You will have to enjoy the cultural dance, as the locals perform their Kinyarwanda dance, music, the way of life of these people after which you will return to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Relaxation

Following an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters to begin the day’s activity. Gorilla trekking is done in groups of eight per gorilla group, after which you will set off into the extension of the Virunga volcanic region. The activity takes 2 or more hours depending on how far the gorilla families have moved, an hour is allowed while with the primates while enjoying the young stars do their daily life under a watch. Day 3: Hiking Dian Fossey Tomb

On this day you will reassemble at the park headquarters for the day’s activity. Early morning briefing followed by a hike to pay tribute to the tombs of the great American primatologist whose great works are evident in regards to protection of the mountain gorilla. Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking

After a previous day in the forest to witness the tombs and the trails, today you will reach to the park headquarters to begin the days adventure the park ranger will brief you on the dos and don’ts while in the forest. Golden monkeys are beautiful creatures and love to live in the bamboo forested regions of the forest.
