Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by a Verdant Safaris company representative who will brief you on the 5 day tour and depending on your time of arrival he will take you for a Kigali city tour visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a place of great historical moment for the people of Rwanda, visit the local markets have lunch and transfer to the Kigali International Airport for your helicopter flight to Volcanoes National Park. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience
You will wake up to an early morning breakfast and be transferred to park headquarters for the days big event. These primates roam through the forest without being captivated. Day 3: Transfer to Akagera National Park
Morning tea or breakfast after which your guide will transfer you to Akagera National Park, passing through the most angelic landscapes of the home of many hills. Stopover en-route for lunch and a pictures moment. You will arrive in time for an afternoon game drive in the park expect to see lions, antelopes, waterbucks to mention a few.

Day 4: Game Drives and Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema
Following a morning breakfast, you will head out to the national park in search of animals more so the early morning risers. This is one of the busiest times of the wilderness, most of the animal species come out to feed because it’s a calm time of the day free to find food. Expect to see big cats like lions, leopards, antelopes of several species. Return to have lunch and an afternoon boat cruise along Lake Ihema.
