Inn On The Lake is a boutique hotel strategically located on the shores of Lake Kivu. The lodge has the most spectacular views. Inn on the Lake is a wonderful place to feel at home. There are 6 rooms for international and domestic travelers. Every room has a great view of Lake Kivu and room 6 has a panoramic view. We are a family run business whose purpose is to make your trip to Kibuye, Rwanda comfortable and relaxing. There are 3 double rooms and 3 twin rooms that can accommodate up to 12 people. Rooms are well equipped with flush toilets, private bathrooms and free toiletries. Cable TV in each room is a lot of fun and guests have free Wi-Fi. A restaurant is a place where you can find a variety of foods that you would like to eat. Enjoy your stay and sample the restaurant’s curated menus.

Room rates are affordable and the hotel is located near the Mukula Forest, part of the newly established Gishwati Mukula National Park. Known for its primate species and numerous forest tree species, the town of Kibuye is one of the few places where you can sit and relax during your Rwanda safari. You must arrive at the main entrance of Kigali International Airport. You will then be taken through the beautiful scenery of the tee to the lodge where you will stay overnight. Depending on your arrival time, if you want to explore Rwanda’s rural lands, the rolling hills and winding roads of the countryside, the feeling is exceptional. You can choose Kigali city tour. Other popular activities are held on the outskirts of Kibuye. Our lodge representatives are always on hand to help you reach your destination.

The trip begins with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. For the people of Rwanda, this is a historic site where thousands of lives were lost as a result of war. Visit Volcanoes National Park, where mountain gorillas roam free ecosystems without being captivated. The chase is conducted in groups of eight gorillas per his family, led by a silverback male. Babies are cared for by their parents until they are 2 years old.

The lodge is located a few kilometers outside of Kigali City, but a 25-minute helicopter flight can be arranged on request. Things you need to bring when traveling to Africa are insect repellent, warm clothes, long-sleeved shirts and trousers, and light clothing depending on the time of the trip.
