Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel is close to the beautiful forest and is constructed with tiled roofs, colonial style structures, and lovely gardens surrounding the lodge premises. There are 3 double standard rooms, 7 deluxe rooms, family cottage. These can be arranged into double, single and triple room occupancies. The family cottages boast 2 bed rooms. The room rate is pocket friendly for travellers to the destination. Each of the rooms is fitted with a flush toilet, reading tables, and toiletries for guest use. A swimming pool and a beautiful garden await and the lovely staff members are willing to make your stay at the lodge as memorable as possible. Drinking water and soda are served for free with the meals while at the lodge. Other lodge amenities include massage treatments that can be booked at an extra cost.

The restaurant serves fresh cuts gotten from the onsite garden. Most of the produce is bought from the local community hence enabling chefs to prepare tasty meals to guests. These cut across nations as you will enjoy Mexican dishes, Italian dishes and more. They are served in the early breakfast, lunch and dinner time served from starter to dessert. Enjoy the bar at the main lodge area serving drinks of different categories including premium and non-premium dinks.

Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel can be visited all year round but best during the dry seasons. The major activity of the park is mountain gorilla trekking. Gorillas enjoy feeding on the forest plants, tree backs, fruits and mush rooms. They live in groups of up to 20 members led by a silverback. Tracking time depends on how far the gorilla families have moved. It is important to buy gorilla permits prior to tracking time. The price is $1500 per permit. Other park activities include visiting the Dian Fossey tombs, an American primatologist who lost her life during her reign. Most of the great work was featured in the movie Gorillas In The Mist.

Volcanoes National Park has an incredible recommendable bird list. Over 200 birds species are present in the ecosystem. Carry along binoculars, and good lens cameras for a great experience of the national park, and some of the species are endemics of the great Albertine Rift Valley region.
